According to the new issue of Marie Claire, a “Stiletto Stoner” is a smart, successful, educated woman who relaxes and unwinds with her good friend Mary Jane after a grueling day of work. And it may just be a growing trend among young women, according to a new study by The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration. Statistics say that at least eight million American women have smoked marijuana in the past year. Irie mon! Still “Stiletto Stoners” don’t consider themselves pot heads, rather they think of their wacky-tabaccy joint as the equivalent of a glass of wine, only without all the extra calories or the hackling hangover. Debbie Schwartz, a 28-year-old girl interviewed in the article says, “I love to have a glass of wine now and again, but going out and downing sugary cocktails isn’t fun for me. And drinking is so much more expensive….I’ll go to the gym for an hour, then come back home and smoke a joint while I listen to jazz and read a book—I just finished The Fountainhead. It’s my moment for myself before I have to get up and do it all over again tomorrow. It’s my bubble bath.” OK, this is starting to sound like my kind of an evening. [Huffington Post]
So what do you think? Are you a “Stiletto Stoner”? If so, tell us why it works for you in the comments.

I am stiletto stoner. I find pot inspires me to take a step away from my often stressful (and boring) life a senior finance executive. Marijuana helps stimulate creativity and is fuel for my adventures. I document it all through photos on my blog. http://www.cannabista.com
